It all started in 2005 at NAU cheerleading practice, no seriously it did. I fell hard for this tall guy with some weird tattoos, a permed red fro, goofy laugh, and terrible stunting abilities that was conned into cheerleading by his fraternity brothers. We started dating immediately but after a few short months he decided he was going to enlist in the US Army and that we were just never going to work out. 6 months later after being stunt partners with the guy who broke my heart, he left for basic training. We both went our separate ways... me getting my degree in Education while cheering for my Lumberjacks and him becoming an Air Traffic controller. We kept in touch minimally through sporadic phone calls but I never imagined it would work out after years apart. Fall of 2007 he began working in Tucson coming up to visit his old college life in Flagstaff whenever possible, but always coming to my apartment first. I guess you could say the rest is history... after a semester of him doing NAU ROTC and me Student teaching we moved to Tucson where we both began working. We began our love/hate for beagles getting our first puppy Jack in 2008 and then Lola in 2009. In the Summer of 2009 we were married in Las Vegas with all of our friends and family there for support. Summer of 2010 We moved to Fort Rucker Alabama where Steve became a Warrant Officer, Started flight school, but most importantly had our first Son Steven in August. I have been enjoying being a stay at home Mom here in Alabama and we are anxiously awaiting graduation from Apache school next spring/summer, OH and our last Trumbull addition baby#2 coming February 2012 ! Can't wait to see where life takes us next .
Not having friends and family with us through all of this excitement is the hardest part of our lives which is why I am starting this blog, to make everyone feel a little closer even if it is just through a computer screen :)
